Steve & Amy's journey into youth ministry has been a long, thrilling, and sometimes bumpy, ride (ask them when you have some time to hear a long story). Steve has served as a volunteer youth worker since graduating from his own youth group many years ago. Though Amy first became involved in youth ministry with Steve, she has developed into a brilliant youth worker in her own right. In 1999, Steve and Amy accepted their first part-time youth ministry position at Cornerstone United Methodist Church.

After helping Cornerstone establish a youth ministry, Steve & Amy returned as volunteers at Riverview Baptist Church. In 2001, they began serving part-time and in July of 2003 they joined the full-time staff. Serving at Riverview has been a dream come true for Steve and Amy. Riverview has become their "home" church where they began their marriage and family. Every youth ministry should be so blessed to be at a church with such wonderful and loving students and adults.

Steve and Amy were married June 1, 1996 (mark it on your calendar, we expect presents). They both grew up in the Springfield area and moved to the Lake of the Ozarks after marrying and graduating from college to teach at School of the Osage. Madalyn, Harrison, Gratian and Taryn are their four children. Steve loves to sing, ride his bike, and spend time at home with the family. Amy loves to surf the net, cook, work outside, spend time with the family, and go on short bike rides with Steve.
