XLR8! is an advanced class of Bible study. The purpose of XLR8! is to provide children with greater depth of knowledge of basic Bible doctrines. A pre-requisite for attending either class is salvation.

As stated in the forward to Year One:

Waiting to teach Bible doctrine with any depth until a person has reached junior or senior high school is too late. Our youth have already begun slipping through the cracks. Too much time has been lost and too much of the world has already crept into their hearts and minds. This is reflected in the fact that church kids aren’t living lives that are discernibly different from non-churched kids.

We must reach the hearts and minds of children in their elementary years. We have the opportunity to begin investing basic Bible doctrines in the children in these early years so that there is a foundation to build on in years to come.

We have two classes: 5th grade and 6th grade. Each has their own curriculum.

• 5th grade studies The Basics of the Bible, God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, Angels and Demons, Heaven and Hell, The Fall of Man, and the Way of Salvation. This class meets on Wednesdays after school (3:30-5:30PM).

• 6th grade studies The Attributes of God (Sovereignty, God is Spirit, Omnipotence, Omnipresence, Omniscience); Evangelism; Christian Victory; Grace; The Names of God; The Providence of God; The Church; The Sabbath; Perseverance of the Saints; Prayer. This class meets during the Sunday School Hour (9:30-10:30AM).
